The Lamb Inn

Booked the Lamb Inn for my wife's birthday treat. The room was in an annex joined to the pub. It was quite spacious with a large comfortable bed, nice shower and bathroom. The evening meal was lovely (certainly got brownie points there). The meal choices were not the usual fare. I had a very tasty triple fish meal comprising of tuna steak, prawns & fishcake whilst my wife enjoyed a loved Lamb dish, cooked to perfection. The wine list was extensive with some less recognisable choices. We enjoyed a very palatable Lebanese wine. Breakfast the following morning was excellent and again cooked to perfection. Several highlights of the Peak district are close by.

Beautiful rural Inn, great location. The ambience and character of the Inn is delightful, with log fires and intimate feel of a bygone age . All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was big, clean and well presented . The bed was so comfortable . Equally the bathroom was spacious with a great shower. Loved the small touches provided within the room too. Breakfast was excellent 👌 with high standard produce used and a good selection of cereals, yoghurts , jams etc . Would definitely stay again ! Well done Team Lamb Inn !

Beautiful, well kept retreat for New Years Eve. Extremely friendly from arriving to leaving and that was all of the team. Food excellent, both dinner and breakfast, service excellent and room was great. Everything in the room was well thought out and it was hard to find anything that was missing. High quality furniture and a very comfy bed. Will definitely be going back, any break is good, but this was exceptional - well done team.

The location was just what we wanted not to far from chinley itself. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were all absolutely fantastic and attentive. Tina and Tom were very friendly and chatty and the other girls were always busy but smiling. The owners Fiona and Steve ( Mr grumpy ) lol and daughter Charlotte were brilliant and very welcoming The drink selection and food choices were 10/10. The meals we had were gorgeous. We highly recommend The lamb inn and we will be back in the new year Thank you Lamb inn it was a pleasure.

A lovely Inn conveniently located in a beautiful part of the Peak District. The room was simple but very comfy and inviting with a lovely en-suite shower room. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were fantastic and genuinely friendly and attentive, in particular the young lad who waited our table for our evening meal. The cooked breakfast in the morning was also delicious. My partner and I stayed for two nights and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Would definitely stay again for another visit to the Peak District.
